We just finished up our 1g DSM Intercooler prototype and thought I’d share some pics. It is based off of Garrett’s 24×12x4.5 core, this is a big ass core and is not for the meek!

Improving yet and to add to the sex appeal the production units will have 1 piece CNC bent .125″ thick Endtanks and CNC turned billet 3″ inlet & outlet Hose Connections. We built another intercooler a while back for a customers car using the same Garrett core. The car makes a little over 1050hp to the wheels and typical intake temp increases are ~15deg throughout a 1/4 mile pass with nearly 50psi of intake manifold pressure. We find that very impressive for a car making such ridiculous power!
