Congrats to Mike Wohler!

November 16th, 2009 ron No comments

Mike headed down to the NC DSM track day at Fayetteville Motorsports Park yesterday to get some passes in. The progress of the car may not be as fast as Mike wants as he’s been dealing with a bit of bad luck parts breakage the entire season that has slowed his progress down. He has run a number of mid to low 9’s this year only to have the weekend end early due to some shit luck. Well this weekend it all came together for him and he got his first 8 second pass. The promising part is there is a lot more to be had out of the car. The 60′ times keep dropping as Mike gets used to the car and gets it dialed in more and I’d guess to say that this car has a 8.2-8.3pass in her the way it sits.

Congrats Mike! I hope that your dedication and perseverance are starting to pay off as your goals are achieved. We’re proud of ya brother!

Reichen’s EVO2 hits the dyno…

September 30th, 2009 ron No comments

Mike wanted to try out a new intake manifold from DV/DT and went up to P&L Motorsports to use there dyno. He’s still using the Borg Warner 74mm on the T4 set-up we built him a few years back. For 40psi this is a spectacular amount of power. The exciting part is that we have built him a new set-up for the car. It’s something a bit unconventional and IF it works the car should make another 200-300hp more.

Sean Ivey makes some passes at Atco…

September 4th, 2009 ron No comments

Sean Ivey brought his EVO out to Atco last night to make a few passes. His previous time at the track he found the clutch to be slipping and addressed the issue for last night. The car is a pretty basic build and is very much a near complete street car weighing in at 3050lbs. It is using our standard Divided T4 Manifold with a GT4294, E85 fuel, AWD Motorsports driveshaft, AMS intake, a few AMS lightweight goodies, has a full interior, all functional glass, and of course features an IVEY Tune on a HKS FCON.

Visit www.iveytune.com to check out Seans services. There isn’t a finer EVO shop in the New Jersey/New York area to get your work done at.
